A simple registration on the platform is necessary to view prices and stocks. Anyone with a solar energy company can register on Solar traders. Enter your details at the top of this page. We will verify your account within a few hours, after which you will have access.
Anyone with a solar energy company can register at solartraders.com and it's completely free. We do not ask for bank or credit card details! However, we expect you to adhere to common business principles and treat other members as you would like to be treated yourself.
All products are shown in a table overview. Click on the offer to view more information about the products and a new window will open. Enter the number of products you need and start an inquiry. Starting an inquiry starts the purchase process and is not binding on any party. Choose your delivery address or add a new one for a project location. If you have a specific question, you can enter it here and it will be automatically forwarded to the supplier. After submitting your application, you and the seller will receive an email confirmation and you will be forwarded to the applicant.
3 steps to a successful transaction
You have already started an application, congratulations! As you can see, our transaction graphically represents the step you are on, so you don't have to worry about getting lost somewhere. You can always contact the seller if you have any questions. For this purpose we have built the Solar traders messaging system. You can enter a message at any time and send it to the counterparty. The trading partner will be notified immediately by email. Typically, sellers reply in a timely manner during business hours.
Click the PURCHASES button to make a purchase. The seller will be immediately notified by email that you have made a decision. It is now up to the seller to confirm the transaction. Once the transaction has been confirmed by the seller, you will receive an email. Wait for the invoices to be also uploaded into the system. The confirmation process normally takes place within minutes or hours. If you don't hear from the seller in 24 hours, feel free to contact us and we'll help. A purchase is binding on both parties once the buyer and seller have confirmed.
A request can be canceled at any time. However, it is not possible to cancel a confirmed transaction (the buyer and seller have confirmed the transaction in the system). There are several reasons for canceling a request, such as:
To cancel a request, use the CANCEL REQUEST button and the counterparty will be automatically notified. A short feedback is always welcome.
Usually the seller sends the goods, but in most cases you can also pick up. There are different suppliers using different logistics companies, so we can't tell you which logistics company is specifically in charge.

Some published solar inverter offers include shipping. However, this rate usually only applies to shipments within the Netherlands. For international shipments, always contact the seller.
There are two types of payments on Solar traders. On the one hand prepayment and on the other hand payment into a blocked bank account.

Customer protection therefore offers extra security for national and international transactions. This service is free for you as a customer.
Not all sellers offer the additional customer protection “payment by escrow service”. However, this does not necessarily mean that these suppliers are not working seriously. The best way to find out the seller's history is to easily check it on the platform. Based on the data such as the number of successful transactions and satisfaction with the individual evaluations, it is generally very easy to see if the supplier is a reliable supplier.
